Not sure how many stars this product deserves - maybe 2.5? I also don't know how addicted my child is to this product. We bought this backpack when my son started high school. They don't have lockers so they have to carry their supplies everywhere and I swear his backpack weighed 20 pounds. He was beginning to complain of back pain often, so I looked for a wheeled backpack to lighten his load. This product seemed to fit the bill. He liked Disco's design and we decided to buy it. Based on mixed reviews, I decided to purchase the $5.99 warranty offered (ASURION's 3-year luggage protection plan) and now see that a 1-year warranty would suffice. The handle broke off completely yesterday. It only seems to be held by plastic or PVC, which I find odd given that the handle itself is metal. That fairly large issue aside, the backpack itself appears to be well constructed, although one of the exterior side pockets has shown some wear from the water bottle being inserted and removed multiple times a day. Product was purchased on November 14th (add 2 days for prime shipping and a few more days before regular use) and the handle broke on January 17th. This lasted about 2 months. The claim process was easy with Asurion and I expect a refund in the next few days. If you decide to purchase this product, I strongly recommend protecting it in this way. Now I have to decide if I want to try this product again with a one year warranty or if we look for a similar product from another manufacturer.
