I never write reviews so I hope this is helpful to those who are hesitant to purchase this product. Apologies in advance if this is long, but it's worth it. I used to get hydrafacials monthly. If you know what they are, you know they can be expensive. I love the glow effect you get from hydrafacials so I decided to try this product after reading many reviews (including other brands listed on Revain). There are some mixed reviews some of which are misleading but let me tell you that you need this product. It really works when used properly. Many reviewers stated that they had hickey-like marks/bruises on their faces. Since this is a vacuum instrument, capillary breakage is to be expected if used incorrectly. I take care of my skin and research many tools/products/facials before buying and still get a lot of dirt out of my pores using this pore extractor. I've used a facial steamer with this to make sure my skin is "wet" or glided over it so the tool doesn't stay in one place for long. If you don't have a steamer, you can simply wet your face, use a warm towel, apply the serum, or use it right after the shower while your face is still wet and your pores are open. I did notice some redness during use, but this fades quickly. How in minutes. Again, this is a suction/vacuum-like tool, so expect some redness. I recommend using the lowest setting with the smallest tip on your (clean) hand FIRST. Once with a dry hand and again with a little water on the hand to feel how it is used. I did and you will see the difference and how powerful it really is. When used properly, your skin will look just as good as it does after hydrafacials, if not better! I spent a lot of money on monthly facials. I didn't know there was an inexpensive tool that does the same thing. And it can be used more often. I wish I could do my skin before and after to show others but hopefully this review helps! ✨ Happy squeaky clear glowing skin ✨
