Ordered to extend the IR emitter in the A/V stand. The connectors are snug and secure so there is less chance of them being pulled out of the back of my automation processor. I cut and spliced a 50ft CAT6 cable between the ends to get to the soundbar in the living room. The cable jacket itself is quite thick, making it easy to roll up and secure the excess. The inner conductors are pretty tiny so I don't know how good that would sound when used in audio. If I had to guess, I'd say it's between 24 and 26 AWG. I would like to point out that there is a ground wire inside to reduce interference if you are using it in an audio setup. Trolley for IR cable. This cable does exactly what I intended it to do.
