I bought this to use over the kitchen sink. My house that I bought last year doesn't have a window over the kitchen sink and although the lighting is good I like it brighter over the sink. I already had lighting under the closet that we installed after we moved in. It was fine and served its purpose. But after receiving THIS light. I ordered 2 more base cabinets and couldn't believe the difference! They're not kidding when they say "bright white"! But they're not too bright to be dazzling, but they're quite bright and you can see exactly what you're doing. I am very happy with these lamps and will definitely buy more when I need them. My ONLY complaint about them is that the screws feel a bit small to mount. I haven't been able to get them right either. They were either too loose and the light would slide off, or too tight and I couldn't install the light. This problem was fixed with some velcro! No, I can move them around if needed, but I don't have to worry about them slipping as the on/off switch is at the end. Just a little thing for me and a quick fix. But for the money, the brightness, and the different sizes they come in, that's a great deal!
