They were a little big for my daughter and I found them difficult to put on and she was around the house. I definitely don't want to struggle with a sweaty foot to put them on on a hot day at the beach or on the street. I wasn't thrilled with the outsole either, it was a bit stiff and not the grippy rubber you usually find on water shoes. It was almost hard plastic that seemed slippery when wet.
