I bought 2 of these belts, one black and the other brown. I loved them at first and really enjoyed the double prong buckles, but after a few days of wearing they suffer from what seems to be a common problem with today's belts, namely 'tears'. It seems that most leather belts use a strip of leather on the bottom, a thin piece of padding, and then a very, very thin piece of leather (or other material) is sewn to the top layer of the belts for different colors or different styles. It is the thin top layer that after a very short period of wear first starts to tear and continues to tear until the tape eventually looks horrible or even tears at the seams. Others have posted pictures of this so I won't do it, but again this seems to be a common problem with most "leather" belts. I would add yes the price of these belts is low but I have bought belts that are 2-3 times more expensive and have the same tearing problem. So I will continue to search for the elusive one-piece thick leather belt. I have a wide and high waist so most local stores don't have belts big enough so I keep buying them online.
