For a long time I've wanted a folding stool that you can just take with you into nature. When I want to draw/write/read I have a place to sit. As much as I love nature, I don't want to be sitting on the ground with little creatures biting me. We have smaller stools that my kids use to roast marshmallows, but they are too small for me. Since this is considered an XL size, I figured it would fit me better. It is not. He's still small. Although it's a bit bigger than my other kids, it's not much. My kids even complained about how uncomfortable it is. I've decided to use it as a reading chair (so my kids can take it to where I work or sit and read to me) but two of them have already fallen out (it slipped under them). The first time was when one of my kids was laughing at a book and I joked with him that he laughed so hard he fell off his chair. After that, however, one of my other children also fell. I think it doesn't make much of a difference if it's on the floor or carpet, but on a flatter surface like a hardwood floor, it's easily (at least) slipping out from under a small person. As this stool is considered an XL size we were disappointed overall but it still offers an easy way to sit when needed.
