With a few modifications it's fantastic! What sets this side table apart from others is the integrated power cord with three (3-pin) plugs and two USB cables. BUT. Ashley Furniture missed a great opportunity to make this product MUCH better. There are two changes they had to make, imo, that would make this functional piece of furniture a five star. This creates a similar look to my 1st photo - top left. Dirty surface. You had to drill holes in the device so you could put things like headphones, a laptop, or iPad charging cables through. Your electronics remain invisible, but are charged. 2- This box could be so good, but as it is it is completely useless. The cup holder is just goofy, and the other niche for the remote control is a waste of space. We modified it by turning it upside down, removing the drawer slides and trimming the sides of the drawer flush. We then reattached the rails so it slides nicely. It took a few tries to get the rails perfectly aligned, but at least we now have a working drawer for the iPad - AND IT CAN BE CHARGED IN THE DRAWER AS WE DRILLED A HOLE IN THE BACK OF THE DRAWER ALSO). So now we have a table with a drawer that has a power cord in the back. We have the top shelf for our son's headphones and the bottom shelf where his controllers are kept - on their charger which connects to the built in charger and goes through a hole we drilled in the back of the cabinet. In fact, I've never used a drill before, but I did it myself and it wasn't difficult. It's just that the furniture had to come with the holes already drilled. You don't have to use them if you don't want to, and no one would know they're there. A golden opportunity missed by the manufacturer. In any case, I really like our loading table now!
