Works as advertised. I bought it because it takes too long to remove the case (made by Lifeproof) from my iPhone while docking the Bose media player. Although the hard plastic surrounding the Lightning connector is slightly larger than Apple's, making it a little harder to slide into the case opening, it still works great. this is important. By the way, if your media player supports charging, this cable will also charge your device.
