I purchased all three versions of this product (ie chicken and brown rice with veg and fruit, 3.75 pounds, beef and brown rice with veg, fruit and chicken, 3.75 pounds). , and Chicken and Potato Recipe with Vegetables and Fruits, 3.5 lbs, Grain Free) have been here for several years now and will continue to do so as long as prices remain fair and competitive. The packaging quality and processing time are still commendable. See food labels for nutritional information and do your own research; There is tons of information out there and you will be amazed at how much there is to learn about the food industry, packaging, ingredients, etc. , and an often time-consuming, long-term, and ongoing effort on your part, if you really want to know everything you need to know about this, consider purchasing a copy of the book/paperback, Zinc, M. Christine entitled : Health and Nutrition by Dogs for Dummies®. It's a treasure trove of information that could potentially save you a lot of time and research. - That's why I gave the quality of the ingredients a THREE STAR rating for this review. . . NOT BECAUSE YOU DON'T DESERVE BETTER OR WORSE, but simply because I don't have the analytical knowledge to offer what I feel should otherwise be a more solid, informed assessment by a nutritionist on the matter. However, I am acting here on a trust basis based on information otherwise provided on the packaging and "non-professional" product comparisons, having first compared this line of products to numerous others before starting mine, for my boys to buy two small chihuahuas. As for the TASTE. . . Three stars again because I don't eat this food myself so I don't know how it tastes lol. And while I can tell my boys don't knock on doors to run to their bowls like I'm going to serve them a filet mignon platter, they never pretend they don't like it or don't care either , and they eat it and act contentedly when and afterward. The husband of the two (one woman, the other man - they are brother and sister) even likes to get nuggets and dehydrated carrot chips, occasionally spanking them, chasing them and playing with them. . It's a fun sight and he loves it too LOL. In terms of value for money I gave it 4 stars out of 5 but I really think you would have a pretty hard time finding a better average price for this line of products anywhere else and believe me I've checked A LOT ( I'm pretty "OKD" ). I'm also giving an OVERALL rating, 4 out of 5 stars, because I can't and never have said anything negative about the product. Nor do I have any reason to believe that I would have done it otherwise or could have done it at any time in the future. I don't think I've ever given 5 stars to anything in this food class so 4 out of 5 is pretty damn good :) - Also, Chihuahuas have pretty sensitive stomachs and both of my get along with this product. simply good . . . but if you do switch, always do it slowly and moderately, as the stomachs and digestive systems of some animals and pets (like the Chihuahua) can be very sensitive. PS: I also consulted with my vet before I started feeding this dog food to my friends and she said she thought it was a good product too. You must do the same.
