I have now ordered two pair of these boots (size 13 women's). First I ordered the white about 2 years ago and I liked them very much (5 stars!). So I ordered the black a few months ago. It took a couple months to reach me - I completely understood that when I ordered them. However, they are way different boots in quality. It's as if the store had to switch vendors to make a similar product. Understandable. Stuff like that happens. The boots are still within the styling of the ones I thought I bought but they are clearly questionable in quality.I added photos of the white boots that have been worn way more than the recent black ones to compare.The black boots I received had either been returned and "polished" up to resell, or they were just horribly made. After two wearings, the sole of the right boot is peeling away from the upper. It is clear there was a problem before shipping them, because I noticed that there is some sort of glue at the toe that indicates they realized it was a problem. Also, the sole of the right boot is way more worn down than the left one and there was a peeling at the top of the toe.The white boots have structure to them. The black ones have none. Again, not a dealbreaker, but I can feel a difference in the "hand" of the material. The white boots have a thicker material compared to the black ones.The zipper to the little pocket opened to expose a damaged pocket. You can see a vendor stamp on the inside of the white boot. There is none on the black, and after two wearings from me, the inside is already starting to fray and get holes.Ultimately, these black boots are what you'd expect to get with a halloween costume - temporary and one or two uses. These are why inexpensive items earn the label "cheap". They are not a good deal.
