Easy to use. great concept
I used to have a container with a vacuum pump and I found it annoying to pump air out every time I took some coffee grounds. This device offers the same maximum functionality, but instead of pumping out air, you simply push the plunger onto the beans/thicks. I think it works fine but I haven't compared it to other options to see if it's useless or not. One annoying thing about this is that you have to make sure the plunger is level in the canister or it will get stuck and make maneuvering difficult.
