I don't have much space in my closet and my problem was large hangers that unnecessarily add profile to the hanging clothes. I was forced to choose cheap thin hangers to save space but easy to break or thick hangers which are more durable but take up a lot of space. These hangers have none of these problems. They are thin but very durable. I bent the plastic part of the shackle a lot to test for strength and it turned out to be flexible and not brittle. It looks like I'll have to bend the plastic more than 90 degrees to (probably) break it. The metal hook is ideal for hanging clothes. It has enough "hooks" to keep the hangers hanging even when pushed around while removing adjacent items, but at the same time the hangers are easy to remove from the rod with a simple lift and pull. The non-stick pads hold hanging items perfectly but don't interfere with quick removal. I can honestly say these are the best hangers I have ever owned and have had for over 50 years. Definitely recommended!
