I bought one of these for my wife for her birthday. She loves to snuggle up in blankets and I've heard they are amazing to some people. I realized I was a little nervous about spending so much on a blanket and the first day she barely used it. She used it on the second night and that was a few months ago. Now it's the only blanket she uses and we've had to get a second one when she's watching TV on the couch (I'll probably get one as I'm a little jealous of how good it is). soft, at 15 pounds it's definitely strong but not overly stifling. She says the important thing is that it lies flat around her to keep drafts out, so it's a combination of swaddling with a snug fit, to to keep the body warm. by far her favorite blanket (and we've been through many in our 20+ years that we've been together. She's almost known for her collection of soft blankets) and yet she's topped them all. I hope you and your loved ones find it as enjoyable as they do.
