After recovering from knee replacement surgery, my wife suffered from slight ankle swelling when she returned to work. She had knee length compression stockings that she used when traveling but she preferred not to use them for swelling in her ankle and only one ankle. You were perfect. She only wears a sock on her injured ankle and a standard bracelet on the other leg. The sock contained the swelling.
