This sensor is easy to read compared to the one I had before. It's well lit, the digital numbers are easy to read even without glasses, and the analog portion of the sensor is quick to determine if the temperature is moving up or down in the desired direction. The installation was the same as the previous one. If you have decent mechanical skills and a drill with good bits, installation isn't that difficult. If not, have someone do it for you. The quality seems better than I expected for the price. I would recommend this gauge to those who want it, the only downside is there are few night settings and even the lowest is a bit brighter than some might want and you can just dim the lights on the dash a bit before it switches on again to full brightness. If you like bright or semi-bright sensors this isn't a problem, but if you like dark sensors at night then look elsewhere.
