I've had this shoe rack for a long time and wanted to take a little time to appreciate it. First of all, I ordered these mainly because of the look and size. I love darker colors for furniture and this fits right in. It also comes in a variety of color options if you don't like darker colors. In terms of size, I have a relatively small kitchen and needed a shoe rack that would fit between the door and the dishwasher door (when folded) as this is where we walk around the house most of the time. It meets absolutely all requirements. I measured the exact size I could get away with and these are almost the exact measurements I needed. The pillow that comes with it is also very nice. It's a firmer cushion so you can sit down and put your shoes on and not have to sit in a tree. The pillow doesn't slip either. The durability of this bench is also excellent. My dad weighs around 190-230 pounds and he held it with no problems. Then the only thing that can push someone away from this bench is the height of the shelves. My husband has ankle boots that don't fit on any shelf. We don't mind much; We just put it next to the shelf and everyone else's shoes on the shelves. Overall I would recommend this bench especially if like me you are short on space.
