This backpack is pretty good if not completely odor proof. This worked fine for a few days and then I quickly realized that if I leave the backpack in an enclosed space (like a car) that whole area smells the same as the contents of the bag. If you quickly squeeze the air out of the bag, all the smells will come out. There is a very nice hidden inner pocket that helps if you store groceries in it but my zipper broke after a few months and can no longer be used. Overall a great bag, which in my opinion is not the right one. That's very good value for money considering the smell proof bags are more than double the price!
