I bought this because it's summer and I like to carry a pitcher of ice water in my car. I quickly went through the smaller thermoses and bought water. This pitcher holds a good amount and the straw makes drinking easy. Of course, it won't fit in a cup holder, but you don't need to be told that either. I put it on the seat next to me. As long as I fill it halfway with ice, which is about a full ice tray, it stays a nice cool temperature even after sitting in a hot car. And no, I'm not a kid and I don't like Star Wars products, but this design is subtle enough not to look childish. There are two downsides. For my small female hands, the lid is difficult to unscrew and turn back. I can hardly understand its scope. Another problem is the carrying handle, which is at an odd angle. It would be better if it had a folding handle, like plastic pitchers. This is difficult to hold. Overall I still like it though.
