Does not work with EVGA 1000GQ. Bought this cable because I was scammed on eBay for the power adapter cables that came with it. (I have nothing but SATA and peripheral power supplies). So I sent this prime to get my new PSU working. Everything connected and got a click at startup and nothing else. Everything but the 24 pin disabled and it booted up. So I connected the devices one at a time until I narrowed it down to this 8-pin connector. Apparently the cables are very brand dependent. sucks. So my hunt continues. I'll probably just leave it at that and see if it works with PCI-E since the return shipping fee is probably half what the cable itself is.
