I ordered this item to store a double mattress and box spring that were not in use. The pocket sat snugly against the mattress itself after some very fiddly maneuvers, but there wasn't enough pocket in the end to tie it with the zip ties provided, so I taped the pocket shut. The box spring bed was a completely different story. Despite being only 1/2 inch wider than the mattress, the box spring didn't want to fit in the bag at all. After about 15 minutes of pushing, pulling, and shaking, I had the bag fully pulled onto the box spring, but only after the material ripped in two different places. It's easy to attach with packing tape, but I have to cut the bag off the box spring to use it. So, as a word of caution, although these bags are designed for double mattresses, they may not fit or be very tight.
