In the description, 20-29 inch bust is for plus size. I measured my pup and she was 27 inches measured just behind her front legs. This was the estimated diameter from every measurement I took. The velcro had to be 3 inches longer to allow for a 2 inch overlap, which would be the minimum for a secure fit that won't come loose while swimming. Luckily the buckles weren't long enough. I was able to get them to snap but there needed to be at least another 2 inches of adjustment (max chest 29 inches for large, my pup is 27 inches = 2 inches). Otherwise the quality is excellent. Just be sure to size up if your pup is a 24-25"+ chest size.
