I have used 3 cards of 128MB, 1 of 256MB and 1 of 8MB with my 2.1 megapixel camera. So I had about 648 photos, which is great for holidays etc. When I bought a new 7MP camera, I found that the photo storage was reduced to around 202 photos, which is definitely not enough. With a 2GB card I can take at least 650 photos without changing the card. With my existing cards, that comes to about 850 photos. This number increases when I use macro or super macro settings (they reduce the image size to medium). I had no problems with any of my compact flash cards (they are all Sandisk) and they all worked stably with no problems.
