The word 'hipster' is in the description so I thought I'd return this bag as it didn't meet the conditions promised (too many seemingly durable items photogenic but weak under stress). I couldn't believe how well made this bag was when it arrived. The treated canvas is waterproof and well stitched. The leather straps are actually real leather and don't go anywhere thanks to the metal hardware. This bag has gotten me through Irish downpours and has never leaked. It also offers security when carried over the shoulder, as access to the side pocket is only possible when the bag is removed. This is perfect for your passport if you decide to take it with you.
