Went like clockwork! Prepare to put in some work.
My wife's iPhone 6 had location issues at times. For example, maps show your original location but don't move with you as you drive. This solved all the location issues BUT be prepared to do some work to disassemble the phone. This is usually located in the lowest accessible part of the phone. You can see my photo of all the parts I disassembled to get there. It's a bit scary, but it's an old phone, so I was willing to accept failure if I broke something. The screws are very small and are all different lengths and sizes so you need to be very detailed.
