Review on Henn Hart Contemporary Shelves Blackened by Michelle Langley

It arrived earlier than expected, just a few days after ordering. The box was sealed and resealed and fell apart and when I picked it up to take it home the fragile cardboard ripped open and it all fell to the floor. I was sure the glass was broken but the protective foam and plastic in the box protected it! It was in perfect condition without a single scratch. I pulled out the hardware and assembled everything in about 10 minutes. The metal is thicker and heavier than I thought it would be and it looks just perfect on the front door. I love that there are 3 separate glass shelves. The glass is thick and heavy, unlike some pieces of furniture. I'll probably do a quick coat of dry silver paint on it to give it a zinc restoration look, but for now I'm loving it the way it is. The middle glass shelf is close to the top so it's perfect for displaying small fragile items and I wanted to have a shelf below (not just on the floor) so I have room for larger sculptures. I will add pictures. It only shows a few things at the moment, but you can get an idea of the size and appearance from the photos. I would definitely recommend this console for a sofa, hallway table or even a hallway.
