Biggest complaint: No way to see/display current temperature and 5 day weather forecast is for an unknown location. Location permissions are enabled for the Hero Band 8 app. The location appears to have been updated a few hours after setup, but neither the initial nor the current weather applies to my location in Silicon Valley. (Trust me we don't have a rain forecast for the next 2 days!) Biggest advantages over the other 2 mainstream smartwatches I've tried: *Blood pressure! * Calculator * Can upload a custom background image for a simple watch face * Notification history length: 9 * Excellent step and heart rate graphs * Quickly switch watch faces with an undocumented long press on the home screen. Other Complaints: *None of the dials show seconds! * Can't press on screen (unless it's been turned off <5 seconds ago) * Turning on the screen on your wrist is unique (but easy to master) * Just one (difficult to read) watch face has it all: steps, distance, Heart Rate, Battery, Day/Date.* The spaceship game is so simple it should have been left out. * The heart rate sensor takes 15 seconds when you request a measurement. The heart rate on the watch face is not updated for more than 2 minutes. (iTouch Air refreshes every few seconds) As with other smartwatches: * Camera remote control only works for Watch app. But the music remote works with Google Play Music.* No auto-dimming.* No basic flashlight (white screen).* Can hang up calls, but (obviously) not answer or even send to voicemail.* Watch required Strap replacement TPU (who can take that?)* So many watch faces waste pixels on colorful, meaningless graphics.* Who cares about calorie counts or breathing exercises? Cozy. Slim. great screen. The shower works fine. The battery life is good: I wore it for 100 hours in a row and the charge is 5%. Charges to 100% in less than 30 minutes. Love the custom background feature for the watch face. Unfortunately, only one of the 6 downloaded watch faces can be customized, so you'll have to download it again to switch between wallpapers.
