Despite the fact that it's well made for its price, the whole concept is wrong. I was almost blinded by the bright light. I don't understand how it can be used as shown. It needs to be pointing towards your face to be effective. I tried aiming it away from me at a large reflective sheet of white, but it had no way of illuminating my face that way. I bought a 21" x 24" LeeLux gel filter sheet from Adorama ($11 after tax and shipping) and will put it between me and the light. The foil diffuses the light very well. I will post photos when I do this.
