It's wide, long and warm. My teenage daughter doesn't like to dress up for winter weather, but she loves wearing this scarf and showing off her Hufflepuff spirit. She also loves that this scarf is the same colors as her school colors. The scarf does not scratch and is easy to wrap. The patch is a good size and conveniently located. I had to sew what looked like a shawl cut. The skirmishes are pleasant and not too long. Other than that, it's a good, useful winter scarf and easily recognized as a Hogwarts scarf by others.
