Ideal for adapting 16V AC doorbell voltage to 12V DC LED lighting.

I used it to power a LED street sign with doorbell power. Luckily, the doorbell wire was three-wire. I had to drill through the outer wall to find the wire and the converter went into the resulting hole (which was eventually covered by the shield).
