I bought this comforter for our king size bed in California. I like the color but it's darker than I thought. It fits perfectly on the bed, draped on each side of the bed and I love the large pillowcases that come with it. It's not super soft, but I like the texture. It's very, very thin. So if you're expecting a thick blanket, you should probably look elsewhere. I sleep very warm and that's good for me. I have another duvet underneath this one on my bed that I use, basically I use this duvet to put my bed on to make it look nice. I don't depend on this blanket for warmth.
