I've been using Lume for two years and it helps me a lot in terms of smell. However, I have found that since it is a natural deodorant, it has caused hyperpigmentation in the armpits due to skin rubbing. I also missed the smell of something fresh under my armpits. I decided to switch to this DOVE deodorant as it is a leading brand. I am extremely disappointed. Not only is the smell of deodorant so noticeable, it really isn't pleasant at all. I apply it right after my shower and I smell like an exotic dancer, and not in a good way. Like BO mixed with bad citrus. I couldn't bear to move my arms because I didn't want to smell it. I don't care if it's gentle on the skin, it doesn't actually stop odor-causing bacteria. It just masks it with a more unpleasant smell. I would also like to point out that you cannot return this item to Amazon. All in all I'll have to keep looking and wouldn't recommend it. It just stinks horribly.
