This hammock is great for the cat in my life. I have a nice bay window that my cat likes to hang out in all the time. This allows her to get off the ground and rest quietly in the warmth of the sun, away from dogs and legs. This is done along with a few simple steps. There are easily recognizable end and middle stripes. You put the middle sticks on one of the end caps. insert them into the sleeves of the middle pole. The sleeve of the end cap is kept closed with a hook and a pole strap (Velcro). Then insert another connector into the setup and attach the strap to the hammock. Two types of suction cups are included. The suction cups, without the fancy backing, slide easily into the end caps of the hammock you just assembled. Fancy suction cups hold the wire to support the hammock from the outside. A screw on the back holds the wire in place. First I attached the hammock to the window, then I routed the wires, and then I attached it to fancier suction cups. It takes about 5 minutes to assemble and install. But the cat loves it. I had no trouble releasing the suction cups, nor did they sag at the attachment points. Don't worry that it will accidentally fall down on it along with the cat. This is a great addition to a cat house, my cat loves it so much.
