This can only be worn as part of a costume but, I was expecting something a little better. I waited a long time before ordering and order it to go with two possible halloween costumes. I ordered the wide, I was expeceting the leather looking band to be wider.so I don't know what wide means. The center is 7 1/2 inches top to bottom and the middle is 6 inches wide, the rest is elastic.I ordered the small and my waist is 31'. When it arrived I was on my way out but rushed to try it on out of shock because it looked so tiny. It's a good fit over my jeans , shirt & a belt . I didn't need to move the lace but, there was no room to adjust the velcro in back if needed.The top is tall enough and I'm busty, so I'm ok with that. I guess , I just expected a little more but I should have zoomed in a lot closer to the photo .I ordered the red and it looks EXACTLY like the picture.it gets 5 stars for that.But it's $8.00 so I can't expect the quality like my waist sincher. It feels strong .so I hope it hangs in there for a little while.
