Review on YXGOOD Penguin Winter Maker SNO Buddy by Ben Dixon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Very thin plastic, most likely to break in the snow

We have various snow molds for making blocks and other snow molds. I got this penguin because my son loves penguins and I knew he would love to make some snow penguins next time we have snow. Mold has several problems. First, it is made of very thin and flimsy plastic. This type of plastic tends to crack after a few minutes of use in the snow, so I don't have high hopes that this mold will survive to make more than a few penguins. The second problem is that the slides that hold the form together don't fit together well. Unless the mold breaks in the snow, adjusting these guides in freezing temperatures is likely to result in breakage. This shape might be better suited for making sand penguins in warm temperatures, but I still think side slips would be a problem and lead to breakage.
