I was about to replace 12 light bulbs on my kitchen ceiling. Before ordering, I made sure that my existing cans have double hooks for attaching spring wires, which can be seen in the product photo. This is very important if you want the stock headlights to be installed correctly and stay in place. I bought two packs of 6 of these Feit bulbs to replace my old BR30 bulbs. The procedure was simple: 1. Unscrew the old bulb2. Remove the metal bezel (or "skirt") that was held in place by two springs3. Using needle nose pliers he removed two springs.4. Screw the replacement fixture's power supply into the E-26 socket where the old lamp is installed.5. Plug the new feit into the power adapter slot.6. Squeeze the spring cable fasteners on the feit and place the device flush against the old can. Make sure the spring wires go into the double hook points in the can. I climbed up the ladder and handed over the old lamp, cloth and feathers. to my dear wife and she gave me a new Feit unit to install. Did it 12 times in under 20 minutes. All units worked right out of the box, no DOA, and they were all dimmed consistently and evenly with a Lutron MACL 153 dimmer. Diva will work just as well. Much brighter than the old Halogen BR30s. i need a dimmer Completely satisfied. Took about $8 for the light and I expect I'll never have to go up and deal with them again.
