Review on Multi-Size Wax-Coated Skate Laces For Ice Hockey, Roller, And Boot Skates - Pack Of 2 Pairs From TaktZeit by Jason Ballard

Does the job good for me

I went to these from unwaxed laces. These are quality laces from what I can tell. They haven't noticeably stretched and they hold their grip on the eyelets well. The only downside is that there isn't a proper aglet on the ends. It is either starched or treated with extra wax to stiffen it. This makes it more difficult to feed through the eyelets because the ends are more flexible than they would be with a plastic or metal aglet or even if they had been stitched into a cylinder.

Pros
  • Good quality hockey skate laces.
Cons
  • Only Suitable for Certain Skates: While the product description advertises that these laces are suitable for ice hockey, roller, and boot skates, some skaters may find that they do not fit their particular brand or style of skate. This can be frustrating, especially if the laces were purchased specifically to replace worn-out or broken ones
