Bought for a renaissance festival that is coming up. For the price, it will. As someone who wears real, authentic corests & will on occasion tightlace to a 6in waist reduction, this is NOT the corest you want for anything more than a "fashion corest" (not to use like an actual corest.) It is not uncomfortable, don't get me wrong. Very flimsy. Laces are pretty but will definitely break after lots of long use if done up like a tight corest (cheaper ribbion). NO SHAPE, so not flattering like a "real" corest whatsoever.
