Large enough for cat to stretch out and burrow fully. I took a stapler and held the rope to the top of the tree where they use the tree most often and it will last. It seems that most of the time I have to do something or buy a new tree because this is where most of the digging up takes place. I like the way it looks. Good price. Continuous. Doesn't take up much space on the floor. Cats come here first thing in the morning and start digging. I like the way it looks and for me it's a bonus too. If necessary, I would repeat the order in this company, but there is a feeling that it will take a very long time.
