I have glasses that I only use to view my monitors at work to reduce eye strain and am swapping them out for regular readers. I thought there must be a better way! Yes, get glasses with built-in bifocals. But if you want something quick and cheap, these work well enough, if not as well as regular readers, and I'm still not used to the line between them. I had to crop them so they weren't in the center of my vision when looking at the screen. I see people using exacto knives, but sharp scissors have worked just as well. I have yet to cut off the part that is unnecessary in my peripheral vision. So far they have stayed in jars with some water. The price seems a little high for what they are, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of competing products, so they dominate the market.
