This thumb splint is awesome! I have very severe arthritis in my left thumb. It hurt me all the time. My physical therapist for osteoarthritis of the knee and hip bone to bone in my knee and spine which is not a bone to bone joint but specializes in sports medicine and she suggested I get it. I have used a metal splint and tape with no pain relief. The first hour of use has reduced my pain significantly, I can take it off when my hand gets wet, it's much more stylish and cheaper in the long run, especially since everything else I'll use the rail of my life for pain control.
