Review on 🌿 Shabby Green Floral Twin XL Cotton Bed Sheet Set by FADFAY - 4-Piece Twin Extra Long Size Sheets by Kayty Michaels

Pros: This is a very pretty sheet set that appeals to my inner "romance". The print is very nice and corresponds to the photos shown. The fitted sheet fits my thicker mattress well (15 inches including top) and could probably stretch an inch or two easily. There are a few nice touches, like contrasting piping around the fitted sheet, bows on the pillowcases and subtle lace along the edges of the pleated sheet. (I turn the top sheet inside out so the ruffles run down the edges and top, and tuck the edge under the bottom of the bed without wrinkling.) The pillowcases appear to be quite large in length. They fit my slightly oversized memory foam pillow in length, but are a little tight in height. Cons: These sheets are very thin material. You can see the flowers from the fitted sheet through the top sheet. I have several similarly designed bedding sets from another company, but they are much thicker and heavier. They are closer to the thickness of microfiber. I'm not sure how long they will last. There is also the problem of unusual construction. As another reviewer mentioned, the top leaf appears to be made up of two smaller sections joined with a lace stitch. This is a bit odd as the lace lined seam runs literally horizontally down the center of the sheet. With single side printed sheets I usually turn the printed side face down so I can fold the pretty ruffles back onto the bedspread to admire, but in this case I can't do that because of the lace stitching which chafes. my skin if I did. I don't know what that seam is for. Overall I am happy with my purchase but still prefer the thicker sheets that another seller has.
