These bags are a bit heavier than I expected for being so small, but I'm used to the same wallet I have already there. It doesn't have strong metal zippers, clips or buckles like these, which is probably where the light weight comes from. The shoulder strap has plenty of room to adjust and those zippers will probably outlive my old purse. The nice thing is that you can detach the strap and use the bag as a clutch if you wish. I have ordered 2. Mud and Black The color of the mud was ok, but the black lining has a smell that I can't pinpoint, somewhere between mothballs and shoe polish. These 2 came together but both were packaged differently so the black one may have lasted longer. I took the liner in the smelly one and aired it outside for 6 hours but it didn't help. I rubbed the lining with a soapy sponge and it soothed her. I will also try the essential oil to see if that cures it. I plan on keeping it if that smell doesn't come back in full force. They were very good for the price. I like the simplicity of the design and the size, but it would be better if they increased their height to 7 inches. Good color choice
