Update: not very good. I would do it in an emergency. My mouse trackpad on the keyboard doesn't work when this charger is plugged in. Probably due to the lack of a ground loop isolator. If I keep one hand on the metal part of the surface and the other on the trackpad, everything works. That is, if I'm grounded myself. But that's a pain in the butt that has to be done every time. Yes, I can poke a mouse - it's not convenient either. It's worth spending the extra $100 to get one directly from Microsoft. price manipulation? Maybe. But it's worth getting what works. In addition, the charger will produce sparks at the attachment point. Bad sign. And finally, a package came with an offer that said if I left a review, took a picture of it, and emailed them, they would give me a $10 Revain gift certificate within 48 hours. I did this and the email came back as undeliverable. I double checked the email address. Looks like a scam. Oh well. First Review: Seems to match the advert. Obvious build quality - strong, solid connections Plug and play Great packaging USB connection works well Velcro closure I'll say more when it changes - but so far so good. My old one finally deflated after years of use. Grateful for not having to fiddle with the cable for 5 minutes just to find that sweet spot.
