I have had this product for over a year and have found the following. Installed hard drive in the DVR - garbage. She let me down for the first few months of ownership. But very easy to replace. The cameras are well made and durable. They survived the storms, the Texas heat, bugs, etc. I had one of the cameras attached to a branch that broke in the storm and the camera fell about 15 feet and was still working. There was a problem with a weak signal on one of the cameras. The cameras also have a built-in repeater function. Thus, the next camera can transmit a signal to the DVR. Video quality is ok. Good enough to see what's going on. You won't see fine details when you zoom in, that's for sure. At first I had problems with the app. Not all cameras are displayed. I blamed this app. But what caused it was the network setting. Fixed and the app works fine. So if you are "not" tech savvy, you may run into trouble. Must have a basic understanding of computer networking and comfortable enough to open the NVR to swap out a drive. It's not exactly plug and play. It will take a bit of work to get this device working properly. Overall very happy with the product and I recommend it.
