OH GOD! I can't say enough good things about them! I've breastfed 4 kids in the past and I'm currently ranked 5th. As a *um* "ambitious" milk producer, nursing pads have become an absolute must for me. I've used disposable nursing pads, washable nursing pads, and silicone nursing pads. And EVERYONE has failed me on some level. Silicone is great for swimming or for special occasions, but not for everyday use. Disposables get expensive and I quickly go through them, sometimes having to double the cost. Detergents, well, they were absorbent, but there was no way to stop milk from seeping through the other side... and aren't they supposed to keep your clothes dry? Also, they were REALLY bulky and flashy. Enter Baby #5 and Bamboos! OH. MY. WELL. Where have you been my whole mother life?! It is wonderful! I bought a trial pack of 1 pair for the day and 1 pair for the night sleep. I used them right after giving birth to LO and I haven't had regular milk production yet. Even during a 6 hour night's sleep my clothes were DRY! (Unheard to me before.) Even if the padding got wet, the milk-resistant lining kept all of my clothes DRY. NONE of the other types I've tried have been able to do this on a regular basis. So I bought enough of each to use for a week. LO is now 4 1/2 months old and these are the ONLY nursing pads I use at all. I tell EVERY new mom I know about it. I understand that not all moms need to use nursing pads, but I always have and they are REAL without a doubt. BEST. EVER.!LOVE LOVE LOVE!OH! And the daytime ones are so thin and unobtrusive, they're truly INVISIBLE under clothing. But don't let the fact that they are less effective fool you. They absorb and protect my clothes just as well during the day as they do at night. Okay, I've had enough of my bullshit. You can order with confidence. :D
