USB-C is awesome. However, if there is a downside, it's the fact that they don't stand up to daily wear and tear. My wife's Mac has 3 unused ports because her computer is on a stand and cables are being pulled to those ports (and her Mac will NOT tolerate this). She got a new Mac and I didn't want her new machine to suffer the same fate. After a quick search I found these and they are amazing. Quality at the highest level. The length is perfect. Time will tell if their sleek machine can handle the load of a single cable. Personally, I will not spend any money on it. But if the ports fail, it's NOT the fault of those cables.
