Review on 🌈 LIFX LZTV1MUS Light Strip Multicolor: Illuminating Your Space with Vibrant Colors by Dave Howard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Bright as day or dark as night but I would like to control these lights with a switch

Got them in the mail today and while so far they haven't held up well on uneven surfaces they are pretty cling well to my ceiling and the amount of light they put out can be quite blinding if you're not used to them πŸ˜… As usual, Lifx seems to dominate in terms of brightness and color range, but I love the ability to "paint" . each quadrant with a specific color (or shade of white) and move colors (from left to right or vice versa). If you want a backstory on why I chose this particular lightstrip, read on: My introduction to using lightstrips was at Kasa, but when the app wasn't updated regularly and the light started acting weird, I decided me to look for a new strip light to illuminate my stairs. I've found that the Hue bulbs seem to stay on while the router is running, but aren't a fan of all of their apps (and god forbid you should have an older model), while the Lifx offer the most brightness and colour seems. and I've heard of a new brand that lets you turn your traditional light switch into a smart switch (without spending extra money on a new switch and electrics). Since the most important thing for me was the brightness and the number of colors (not to mention how long the company can stay in business so that I don't feel like I'm throwing the dice), I finally settled on Lifx Z., and I'm incredibly glad I did (although I'll update my review if that changes)
