This footstool requires only minor assembly consisting of hand screwing together four short legs. Otherwise, it's ready to use in less than five minutes. It's small enough to fit on my kitchen counter (as you can see in the first photo) but big enough to sit on. It's the perfect height to put your feet on and very comfortable to sit on to put on your shoes or just for a short time. Overall I think this is the perfect addition to my decor. The pleated edge is also very attractive. The top should be cleaned with a handheld vacuum at low suction. It can be wiped clean with a slightly damp cloth. It should not be used as a step stool as it can easily be knocked over and a round tabletop is not suitable for this. The dimensions when assembled are 19 x 19 x 18 inches. can (in my opinion) be used without legs. The lack of legs reduces the height from about 4 inches to 15 inches. Overall I'm very glad I ordered it, especially since it's small enough to fit in the corner of my bathroom. or somewhere else I want to improve the facility.
