Review on Aliglow Ice Snow Grips - Over Shoe/Boot Traction Cleat Spikes - Anti-Slip Footwear by Viterbo Dashora

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I bought 4 different pairs

Four of us walked snowy trails twice in 15F and 30F. traction is good. Compared to this type and to crampons with long spikes, this spike is enough to make walking on compacted snow very efficient. The effect works in all directions. My Merrel hiking boots can't keep up with that. There's just one design issue: they fall off easily. If you compare the pictures of different types, you can see that some clips cover most of the laces. Some high-end models even come with underwires that attach to the ankle. Every 1 of the 2 pairs I bought for a different shoe size falls off once and I even say lost on the way from sbelse. My crampons are a bit more difficult to put on and never fall off.
